I captured this shot of Venus transiting across the sun with Fuji X-T2 close coupled to a Questar 3.5" telescope with a solar filter. The other small dots are sun spots.

This is a 7-image composite of the August 21, 2017 total eclipse of the sun as seen from central Oregon. The exposure times range from 1/20 to 1/4000 seconds. The composite image reveals details of the corona which are particles in space being ejected by the sun in patterns caused by the magnetic disturbances around the sun.
Earthshine (reflected light from the Earth) fills in the shadows of the crescent moon at sunset, Kingsburg, Nova Scotia.
